Math Practice

Hi,

I've been going through our math scores and decided to post a cool site that could help with four areas our class needs to work on. We need more practice with subtraction(with borrowing),addition(with carrying), fractions(equivalent & comparing) and the metric system. If you have the chance have your kids go to: http://www.ixl.com/math/grade-4 and get some extra practice in.

Thanks,

Mr. Campbell

Busy Busy

Hi All,
This week we have been working very hard on our Native American Reports. All the groups have been doing their best to research all they can find out about their assigned tribes. Next week we will start building our village models!!! This is always a little messing , but a whole lot of fun! I will post the models as soon as they are finished. I know you will be impressed. I would like to thank everyone who sent in Box Tops. Because of you our class won an ice cream party! Next we are collecting Campbell's Soup labels. So keep on collecting. Also, as a reminder, there is no school next Thursday and Friday. So enjoy having a long weekend with your kids!!!

Thank you for helping so much with our class,

Mr. Campbell

Thank You !!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone,

I had so much fun visiting with you during SEP's. It is always a blast to get to know my student's parents and have you get to know me. Thank you for having the best kids!!!

I also want to remind you about next Monday the 12th. We will be having our annual flag raising ceremony at 9:05 a.m. Followed by a school parade headed north around the round-about and back. We love to celebrate how amazing your kids did on their end of the year testing!

Just a reminder, please keep reading with your little ones each night and encouraging them to practice their spelling words and X's tables.

I will also be sending information home about our silent auction basket and things we'll need for it next week.

Thanks again for being so great!
